After all the new toys, treats, and clothes; remember the true meaning of Christmas. Santa Claus and presents and a large roast turkey do not define Christmas. On this, the twenty-fifth of December, we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Chist. Everything is a symbol of Him, from the star on our tree to the gifts we put under it. We celebrate the love Christ has given each and every person.  So please keep the spirit of Christmas in your heart by keeping the spirit of Christ. Love

I've always love listening to the Muppets Christmas music at this time of year. And everyone's got to love Miss Piggy, as long as they're used to her rudeness. I am so excited for Christmas this year! I've been doing my Advent calendar with Caleb all month, he just thinks of the yummy chocolate he gets to eat instead of the closing in Christmas season.

Im Love with a Fictional Character

This Fictional Character Love is probably going to become a series on my blog. Just so that I can vent about how much I love these in movies, television, and books. Such as Charlie from "You Again".

I love his dimples when ever he smiles. And how he teased Marni, the main character, by taking everything harmful away. 

It's too bad Sean Wing isn't as cute as his character. He's still so handsome, but I don't care for how he does his hair.

In Love With A Fictional Character

I've had crush on Neville Longbottom since Third year when he couldn't figure out just how to stroke his Care of Magical Creatures book.

I remember Neville was this chubby little kid in their first year, with bad teeth and a stutter, but he's become quite a stud over the years.

Neville's always believed in Harry, no matter what. And even though Neville wasn't always the greatest wizard, Harry always believed in him. I'm so excited to see Neville's act of heroism in the last movie. I'll miss seeing him, but i like how far he's grown.

What did I say? STUD. Although he could still use those braces.

Dress-up for Fun

Remember when you were little and your mom's clothes were the most beautiful things is the world?
I do.

This morning I started going through my closet, trying to sort out what I wear and what I don't. This soon turned into a fashion show for my mom and even sooner became a game of dress-up for me. I felt like I six years old again, trying on shoes and smearing on lipstick from Mommy's room. I still remember her strappy high-heels that she told me she wore when her and Dad were married.

Have a Delicious Independence Day!

Today, for family dinner we're having a lovely barbecue, the fifth since we got back from Utah last Tuesday. But my sweet tooth has mainly been focusing on dessert. And I'm falling in love with a few recipes as we speak.

School's out!

Yes, finally summer is here. My last day was on Friday and how did I celebrate?
 I went to Kings Island with some of my bestest friends.

Two days later, I am still shaking. I woke up this morning thinking either my dog was shaking the bed or there was an earthquake, but it was only my poor eyes quivering in their sockets. I'm contributing the Flight of Fear to that fact. It is the most violent ride I may have ever been on, and I did not keep in mind my friend Dallin's advice, to keep my head back.

Looking at this picture of the ride makes me glad it's in the dark. I'd be so afraid I might hit something.

So many of my friends are leaving this summer. We had a tear fest at church this morning because it was one of theirs last day here! :( My friends and I have this small group we fondly like to call the Xenia 'Click',  not because we are a clique, as some might like to believe, but because we simply click and we are each others closet friends. Sadly, we are being torn in half as graduation and moves occur. To my wonderful family of friends: du bist ausgezeichnet! Love ya girls, mean it!! (with all my heart). I'll miss you.
